CES 2026 clearly demonstrated one thing: humanoid robots have suddenly become the hot topic of the future. Whereas in 2025 there were only two or three humanoid robots on display in showcases, this time there were almost two dozen, and at least as many suppliers of components for humanoid robots. And that’s in addition to a number of suppliers of industrial robots, robot dogs, and autonomous vehicles. <\/p>\n\n

The robots showed off their skills. They danced, fought, played tic-tac-toe and ping pong, assembled small wind turbines, laid out playing cards, and arranged boxes on conveyor belts. <\/p>\n\n

The list of manufacturers I am compiling for my upcoming book Homo Syntheticus: How Humans and Machines Are Merging<\/a> is growing steadily, as can be seen in this overview<\/a>, which I update regularly. <\/p>\n
