Put away laundry, fold clothes, put away groceries, and now load the dishwasher. The robotics startup Figure.AI in San José has released a new video of its Figure 02 robot with the Helix vision-action language model, which shows the robot loading a dishwasher. The robot arranges salad bowls, glasses, and plates in the dishwasher—admittedly not as neatly as I would do it.

Close-up shots show how the robot picks up glasses with its fingers and then places them correctly in the dishwasher with the other hand, i.e., with the opening facing down, or how it picks up individual plates from a stack using a special procedure.
